About
A Little Bit About Me
I always love a challenge. With over 25 years behind the camera, I’ve faced—and conquered—countless challenging scenarios. From shooting in tiny doctor’s offices to dangling out of helicopters. No environment is too tough when it comes to capturing the perfect shot. For me it’s not just about getting the shot – it’s about working together as a team and creating the shot. That eye-catching, scroll-stopping image that tells your product story.
A Diversity of Experience
I have photographed everything from delicate jewelry to massive industrial equipment in paper and converting facilities. I know how to navigate diverse environments, maintaining a safe worksite.
Portraits That Tell a Story
I’m a people person. I’ve worked with rock stars, sports stars, and famous Hollywood actors, and while exciting, my philosophy is that people are people and all have a story I want to capture. Mostly, I shoot everyday people (I get it, most don’t want their photo taken) so whether for formal portraits or simple employee headshots, I work with everyone to make sure they are happy with the end result.
A Reliable Partner
I treat every client not just as a project, but as a partnership. I’m proficient with lighting—whether it’s people, products, or sets. I pride myself on getting it right in camera, saving clients time and money on post-production. And when post-production work is necessary? I’ve got that covered too. I like to keep my turnarounds tight (depending on the size of the job and schedule), usually 1-2 days.
About Photoshed Studio
I have worked over the years in a variety of studio operations—large and small. Like a functional tool shed, I established Photoshed Studio to provide all the photographic tools I can offer to you at the speed and price you need. No excessive overhead or personnel to slow me down—getting what you need when you need it. I have the connections that allow me to scale up space (if needed) and hire assistants or a hair/makeup, food, or set stylists when needed. Photoshed Studio offers sufficient space to meet your needs, including room size sets, tabletop stations, and portrait wall backdrops. Need that special environment for your product shot? I can scout and retain those locations, whether local or anywhere in the country.
Studio with Full Food Prep Kitchen
Because of the volume of food photography I work on, Photoshed Studio has a modern gourmet prep kitchen with all the needed appliances and appropriate props for chefs and stylists to prepare for the shots.
Working Virtually?
No Problem. I work with clients from all over the country, and more often
in today’s business environment that requires virtual photo sessions. I collaborate with my clients in real-time using the latest technology, like we are right there in the studio together.
Shots for Web and E-Commerce
I don’t just shoot mouth watering food images and product glamour photos but also straight-forward images of products and packaging needed for web or e-commerce sites using GS1 web sizing standards.
